Chemical Peels

A chemical peel is a minimally invasive skincare treatment that involves the application of a chemical solution to the skin. This solution works by stimulating cell turnover and exfoliating the upper layer of the skin - revealing healthier, new skin underneath. Chemical peels will leave the skin looking refreshed and glowing.

A chemical peel is a minimally invasive procedure that helps to fight various signs of aging. Chemical peels are often used to help improve the skin’s overall texture and tone. Specifically they can be used to improve hyperpigmentation, scars, fine lines, large pores, and more.

Who is a good candidate for a chemical peel?

Patients wanting improvement in the texture and tone of their skin are good candidates for a chemical peel. The type of chemical peel used is determined by your provider based on your age, skin type, and overall skin condition.

Types of chemical peels:

Chemical peels are categorized based on the depth in which they penetrate into this skin. They fall into 3 different categories including superficial, medium and deep depth peels. As a general rule of thumb, the deeper the peel the more downtime the patient may experience but the more dramatic the result.
